Purpose

Continual Beauty is committed to protecting the rights of individuals who exercise their legal rights regarding personal data. This policy ensures that no individual faces retaliation for exercising their rights under applicable data privacy laws, including but not limited to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Request correction or deletion of their personal data.
  • Exercise any other rights granted under applicable privacy laws.

Retaliation includes, but is not limited to:

  • Denying products or services.
  • Charging different prices or imposing penalties.
  • Providing a different level or quality of service.
  • Suggesting that an individual will receive less favorable treatment for
    exercising their rights.

Process for Exercising Rights without Retaliation

Step 1: Submission of Request

Individuals may exercise their rights by submitting a request through:

To protect consumer data, we may request verification of identity before processing the request. Verification methods include:

  • Confirming information already on file.
  • Using secure authentication processes.

Step 3: Processing the Request

  • Requests will be processed within the legally required timeframe (e.g., 45 days under CCPA, extendable in certain circumstances).
  • If additional time is needed, we will inform the consumer in writing.

Step 4: Confirmation of Completion

Once the request has been processed, we will:

  • Provide confirmation in writing.
  • Explain any exceptions or denials, if applicable.

Step 5: Monitoring & Enforcement

  • Any employee or contractor found retaliating against an individual will face disciplinary action, up to and including termination
